Mark has over 35 years of power generation field experience. If you have a power problem, he is your man! Mark has worked all over the United States, including ten years in remote Alaskan villages and two years in the South Pacific, where he built and maintained primary power stations.
Mark has attended factory schooling with Kohler and Generac, and special training with Onan, Kohler, Baldor, Katolight and Caterpillar. He has completed additional training for:
- Diesel Mechanic Repair & Rebuilding
- Paralleling Switch Gear Systems up to 2.4MW
- Automatic Transfer Switch
- Control Gear
Besides power generation, Mark’s passion is scuba diving. He has been diving around the world for over 20 years. If he is not working or diving, Mark may also be found at an IHRA raceway donating his time and products in the pit.
Larry Peplow
Service Manager

Larry has over 30 years of power generation field experience, including 15 years servicing backup power systems in the United States Army, and 7 years installing and maintaining power systems from 20KW to 9.6MW in Las Vegas, NV. He has been managing the service technicians at Northwest Power Systems since 2004.
Larry has attended Factory Schooling with Katolight, Kohler, Spectrum, Detroit Diesel, Clark Fire Pump, Guardian, and Baldor, and has completed additional training in a variety of related subjects.
After the work is done Larry and his family drive to the mountains for camping, fishing and hunting. In the winter he volunteers for the local Special Olympics ski team.

I am the parts manager at Northwest Power Systems. I joined Northwest Power Systems in 2018 and I am proud to say that since then we have expanded our in-house Perkins inventory and we now offer Isuzu Diesel, Multiquip, Briggs and Stratton, Winco and other generator manufacturer’s parts. If you need a new or replacement engine or even a new generator, we can offer some very affordable options. With connections throughout the industry we can locate most any generator part necessary. However, if you need a special or obsolete generator part, rest assured we will go out of our way to find the parts you need. Give me a call and I’ll find it for you!

Service Coordinator
As a service coordinator, I maintain administrative workflow and effectively communicate customer’s needs to the service manager and technicians. I also organize the field service job reports so that the technicians can have their daily transactions run smoothly for day to day operations. Good communication and organization is key to making our business run smoothly!
